Sometimes I can be very critical of things I like or am passionate about, so much so I keep talking to myself like 'wow this sure could have been better'
I gotta remind myself a critique is not a critique if all you can say is void of advice or guidance. I think it is easy for a critic to fall into the superiorty complex of 'I am a critic, so I got the right to destroy your work'
Someone that destroys other people's work is not a critic. I think it's important to keep that in mind before criticizing something, if there's no advice to give, then it's not a critique, just a weird way to ridicularize someone's work.
